If application is being mailed it must be postmarked by
 June 12, 2026 to the address shown on the application form.

Student Qualifications:
  • Be an enrolled member of the Navajo, Hopi, Acoma, Laguna, Zuni, or Southern Ute Nation
  • Currently attending four-year college/university or graduate program
  • Entering your junior or senior year or graduate program in the fall semester 2026 or winter semester 2027
  • A declared major field of study or enrollment in a special degree or graduate program
  • Have a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) or better

Your letter of application should include all of the following:
(Important that all items be included in the application)
If you are going to use the On-Line Form you can upload your docments from there

  1. Certification of enrollment from your educational institution that indicates your status in school as of the end of spring 2027 semester
  2. Current unofficial transcript showing GPA
  3. Copy of your tribal enrollment certificate
  4. A one page essay describing your educational and career goals, and how they relate to your Navajo, Hopi, Zuni, Acoma, Laguna, or Southern Ute Nation
  5. A photo of yourself for publication if your application is selected

The following will be submitted from your institutional Financial Aid Office

A printout indicating a calculation of your attendance and other financial aid.
